Campus Oucasts chapter 4The next Campus Outcast official meeting, I walked in to see a grim-faced Ashton with only Addison and Dieter for werewolf companions.  There were no other vampires, as well as no Liam, but the rest of the group was still there.  Both seemed slightly confused, but very aware that something was incredibly wrong.  I stared at Ashton with a curious expression.  What were the vampires and werewolves up to now, and what was so wrong?

Campus Oucasts chapter 3“Hey, Todd,” a familiar voice greeted me as I walked through Coffman Union, the local student gathering place.  I turned to find Liam trotting towards me.  “I was hoping you could answer a few more questions for me.”   
“You have more?  I thought you would have exploded by now,” I answered.   
“It’s not about Others.  It’s about the Campus Outcasts.  They’re just names with faces to me.  I was hoping you could tell me a little more about them,” he confessed.

Campus Outcasts chapter 2I’ve always had a flair for the dramatic.  Perhaps that’s why I made sure that the whole crew was there early to greet Liam when he arrived.  And I found it necessary to play J. S. Bach’s “Toccata and Fugue in D Minor” as played by E. Power Biggs with the bass cranked as high as it would go.  Almost everyone rolled their eyes at me except for Darryl Smith, our resident ogre, and Gail Blake, one of the werewolf clan that happens to be the perkiest goth I ever met.

Campus Outcasts chapter 1I irately kicked a piece of ice fairly hard.  It skittered across the cement sidewalk as if fleeing from my wrath.  February in Minnesota was never exactly pleasant, but today was really not going my way.  Most college students share a lot of academic hardship, perhaps even social hardships, but none like mine.  After all, one can’t afford to make friends when trying to remain inconspicuous as a walker.

Yes, I'm back from D-Day. I had tons of fun, plenty of interesting times, a few new friends, and total hardcore-ness from my fellow unit mates. They were seriously awesome (and gave me cookies. not joking). Here's to a German victory :coffeemachine:
